Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily care of clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. You will play an important role in providing physical and emotional support to our clients, working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Help client move and reposition safely to prevent bedsores and promote mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties in clients' rooms, including cleaning and tidying up.
  • Report changes in clients' condition to nurse supervisor.
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while delivering care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Assistant certification (CNA) is required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move residents safely and comfortably.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
